Quartz Flat Campground
Elevation: 2900 ft.
From Superior, MT, take Interstate 90 east for 10.1 miles to rest area. Turn into rest area and follow signs into the campground.
An alternate route is to take Interstate 90 west from Missoula, MT for about 38 miles (from Exit 96) to the rest area. Turn into the rest area and follow signs into campground.

Attractions and Comments:
52 campsites. Cold drinking water. Flush toilets. Waste disposal site ($2 fee for dumping if not staying overnight). Gas and groceries within 11 miles. Host on site.
Attractions: Within walking distance of the Clark Fork River. Self-guided nature trail.
Directions: Near I-90 at the rest area 11 miles east of Superior.

The campground is located on the north (Loop C) and south (Loop G) sides of Interstate 90. Access to either side is a via a tunnel (12 ft. clearance). It is wooded with Ponderosa pines.
The understory is grass and seclusion between sites is minimal. The campground is excellent location for overnight stay. The public phones are in the rest area. The Clark Fork (river) is nearby and is accessed via the Quartz Flat Interpretive Trail (Loop C).
